Hi there, this time I want to share you the steps on how I sprite the tree leaves. yes, tree leaves is another object that is hard to be drawn too, except if you didn't add the leaves into your tree sprite, just a simple spriting. well, on this tutorial I didn't draw the tree leaves fully (there's a hole in the middle), it's because this sprite is used in Ultima Crystal for the forest theme. Enough for the chit-chat, here I give you the steps, hope it's helpful.

First thing first if you're begin to spriting is to make a sketch, it's important. If you're feels satisfied with your sketch, add the basic color for your tree leaves, begin the coloring with the darkest till the lightest. After that, shape your leaves little by little, it's takes time, but the result is worth it, don't forget to clean your sketch if you didn't divide your layer for your sketch and color. Then add the shade, and it's done.
There's another method to make the tree leaves, draw just a small part of the leaves then duplicate it until the tree is formed, it's more easier than my method (maybe). Perhaps I'll make the steps for the duplicate method later.
